Somedays Are Better

Had big plans for last weekend. On Saturday went out with the Toronto Film Shooters group in Hamilton, Ontario. I’d say we had 20 or so photographers and most of them came in by Ontario’s GO Train system from Toronto.

I was shooting with my Nikkormat and I think I may have been overexposing my negatives and then I may have overcooked them in my chemicals.

I also maybe having some issues with my film scanner so will doing some tests tomorrow.

On Sunday I loaded up the big bag with my digital equipment and the Nikkormat and headed up to the Dundas West Fest.

I’m not sure the black and white came out but I’ll look at it tomorrow.

The colour digital work to my eye came out ok but looked too much like old photojournalism days. I am going to see how they look rendered in black and white. These might look more like street photography.

The colour stuff is going to take more time for me to come to terms with the results.

This unfortunately is the artistic journey and somedays are better than others.
