
Black and white film is the medium of choice for many street photographers.
Dependent on contrast and light and darkness and pattern black and white photography can be a simplier way of approaching street photography.
But what about colour?
Colour is more complex. It can draw attention to itself to the detriment of the image itself. It is harder to manage and control.
So should we avoid colour in our street photography?
